Xcellence Wellness and Aesthetics co-founder and board-certified family nurse practitioner Yitsy Serrano serves Miami, FL patients as an expert cosmetic injector. She also specializes in skin rejuvenation treatments, including anti-aging and laser rejuvenation treatments. She is fluent in English and Spanish and serves as a clinical instructor at Azure College in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Yitsy is an experienced aesthetic nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care with the most advanced technologies and innovative techniques available today. She believes in providing safe, effective treatments of the highest quality that allow patients to look and feel their best. In her spare time, Yitsy enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. She has five amazing children, including one in medical school and a pair of twins. She also has a loving French bulldog.

Hi, I’m Yitsy Serrano, a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a deep passion for aesthetics and wellness. I was born in Cuba and came to the United States when I was 17 years old, full of dreams and determination to build a life dedicated to helping others feel their best.

My journey began in nursing, where I discovered how fulfilling it is to make a difference in people’s lives. That passion eventually led me to earn my Master’s degree and specialize in aesthetic medicine. Along the way, I took countless advanced courses and even worked pro bono at a medical spa — simply because I wanted to learn, grow, and perfect my craft.

Today, I focus on enhancing natural beauty through subtle, personalized treatments that bring out each person’s unique features. I always say,

For me, aesthetics is more than just appearance — it’s about confidence, self-care, and feeling truly comfortable in your own skin. My goal is for every client to leave my chair looking refreshed, balanced, and confident.
