How Are Chemical Peels Performed?
During your appointment at Xcellence Wellness and Aesthetics, while lying in a comfortable position to administer your treatment, one of our professionals will cleanse your skin before applying the customized solution to the treatment areas. We will massage the solution onto the skin and let it work for an appropriate amount of time, which will be discussed in your chemical peel planning session. Then, we will wash the solution off your skin and put on a neutralizing agent. You may want to bring sunscreen or a hat to wear outside following the treatment to protect against sun exposure.
Xcellence Wellness and Aesthetics features two types of peels: the VI Peel and the AlumierMD peel. The VI Peel, a skin resurfacing chemical peel, stimulates collagen and increases cellular turnover to reveal smoother and more radiant skin. VI Peel helps treat skin concerns, such as aging, active acne, acne scarring, melasma, sun damage, keratosis pilaris, and much more.
The AlumierMD peel combines alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) and butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA). This medical-grade chemical peel improves skin tone and texture by exfoliating dead skin cells and speeding up cell turnover. It targets acne pimples, fine lines, wrinkles, and sun damage.

Best medspa in Miami. Yitsy, Sunny and Jinna are fantastic to work with and truly take the time to understand your needs. I have had microneedling done by Jinna who does an amazing job. Yitsy is very gentle when it comes to botox, I usually get very nervous but feel extremely safe in her hands. They are great professionally and the office has an amazing atmosphere. They offer free touch ups and will work around your schedule.
